Rental Boats

 

Rental boats are available for both Paddlefest routes and include paddle(s) and life vests. (Please note: Your registration does NOT automatically include a rental boat.) Rental boat quantities are limited. Nine mile paddlers must claim their rentals by 8 a.m. Saturday morning. Unclaimed boats will be issued to waiting paddlers.

 
 

Rental Rates

Single kayak — $40, seats one

Tandem kayak $45, seats two

Two-person canoe — $45, seats two with space for a child passenger

Three-person canoe — $50, seats three (4.5 mi paddle only)

Stand up paddle board — $40, stands one (9.0 mi paddle and racers only)

 

When they’re gone, they’re gone. Register and reserve your rental early to ensure boat selection.

Personal Boats

Drop off

Boat owners, complete your online registration in advance and drop your boat off at Schmidt Recreation Complex during our Friday night Outdoors for All Expo or unload the morning of Paddlefest. Boat drop off starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. Paired boat/boater ID wristbands will be distributed at drop off to personal boat owners. Be sure to tag your boat! Cincinnati Police monitor boats over Friday night.

pick up

4.5 mi paddlers can pick up their boats from the take-out at the Public Landing until noon.

9.0 mi paddlers’ boats can be collected from the take-out at Gilday Riverside Park until 2:00 pm.

Free shuttles at both sites will transport paddlers back to the put-in to their vehicles.
